Until now, when Guru was in your 12th house, the time was rather miserable. He would have given you all the kind of financial stress, loss in business, loss of credibility in the work place and as well in your social relations.
With Guru in your Janma Raasi now, it is not going to give you an all out change. But your financial stress will get relieved to a reasonable extent.
The loss of credibility and mental peace can not be restored as much as the finances do.
The change in the position of Guru will inevitably bring in two things. One thing is a change in your work place or a change in the nature of work.
In either of the above two cases, it may not be upto your cheers and happiness - but will provide you some kind of a solace.
The second thing is that you may invite some unwanted dispute with your colleagues or fellowmen or if you are silent and cautious, something will fall on you which will pave the way for a dispute. Even if you refrain from any kind of dispute, you may have to cut a sorry figure - even if it were not your fault.
But finances will continue to improve - though significant change can not be expected. There will be a dull note in your activities and you will become accountable for it.

This will light up the candle.
From May 2nd 2010 onwards, you will find yourself in a comfortable position. All the bad name you have earned in the past will not vanish in the thin air. But they will be forgotten for the time being.
Your activities will also be considered as having become brisk, though you are doing the same old thing in the same old fashion.
Only people above you will start feeling anew as if you have improved a lot, while the same quality and volume of work you were doing before were no less than what you are doing now.
The invisible enmities that were undermining your growth until now will become ineffective.
People above you will not say that failed to recognize your performance earlier - but they will tend to mask their face saying that you have improved a lot.
The new development will also give you financial benefits and growth potential.
Some people will have the chances of some foreign assignments and will have to travel abroad.
People who were displaced earlier or who lost their job in the past will have a revival.
Displaced persons will be able to regain their original or desired positions.
Persons who lost their jobs will get back to jobs though not with the same employer or in the same place.
For such people, this period is going to be restorative.
Financial conditions will be by and large satisfactory.
With Ashtama Sani and Guru in the 2nd house after May 2nd and with Raahu in the 11th house, if you have any long term proposals on hand, for which the completion or result can be expected around 2014, this is time you can start taking necessary initiatives.
Such projects will find all the hurdles and some advancement in its progress - but will successfully materialize by 2014-2015. (Ascertain other horoscope parameters with any Astrologer).
Guru will move back into your Janma Raasi on November 2nd 2010.
This period between May 2nd 2010 and November 2nd 2010 is only a period of Adhisaram (advance course) of Guru in the 2nd house. Guru is still having his footing in the Janma Raasi.
The impact of Janma Guru will show up every now and then. There will be some damage in your image - while progress will not be adversely affected. Such incidents will hurt you. But you will have to live with it.
Do not brood over the insults, image tarnish or character assassination that may incidentally come across your way - while you are still running a progressive time.
From November 2nd 2010, Guru moving back to your Janma Raasi, will continue to traverse in your Janma Raasi itself until December 5th 2010.
(December 5th 2010 is the date of next Guru Peyarchi according to my calculation. It may and will slightly vary from Panjangam to Panjangam).
During the period when Guru is in your Janma Raasi in the last five weeks, there may appear to be some threat to the security of your progress.
There may be some apprehensions that the progress you have made will be lost. But it is not going to be so. It is going to remain as an apprehension and actually there will not be any danger.
The reason is that Guru in the last 5 weeks is on his transitional period in the course of his regular transit into Meena Raasi.
During the transitional period, the indications of the next house will also be prevalent and will not cause any real damage.
While the positive side of Guru is encouraging after May 2nd 2010, the Ashtama Sani and his effects should not be forgotten.
For Kumbam, Sani is considered to be sympathetic. Still, he is Ashtama Sani. Its effect will also prevail.
In the overall, this is going to be a period that is better than before
