Guru Peyarchi Palangal -

Guru Peyarchi takes place in December 2009.

Suddha Vaakiya Panjangam indicates Guru Peyarchi on 15-12-2009.

Temples, by and large, adopt the date as per Suddha Vaakiya Panjangam and will perform Poojas on 15-12-2009.

Thirukkanidha Panjangams indicate Guru Peyarchi around 19-12-2009.

The difference in date of transition is common in view of the methodology of calculation of Panjangams.

Guru Baghwan is moving from Makaram to Kumba Raasi.

He is supposed to traverse through Kumba Raasi for one year in the normal course.

During the year to come, Guru Baghwan takes an advance course, called Adhisaram and crosses Kumba Raasi and enters Meena Raasi on 02-05-2010.

He continues to traverse in Meena Raasi until 03-11-2010.

During the course of one year tenure, Guru Baghwan is going to be in Meena Raasi for about 6 months, he is taking a course of two Adhisaram and Vakra Gathis in Meena Raasi itself.

Thus Guru Baghwan is going to be in Kumba Raasi for the first about 5 months from the middle of December.

Then he moves on Adhisaram into Meena Raasi and traverses back and forth for another 6 months.

When by November Guru Baghwan returns to Kumba Raasi, he will be on the verge of his next transition into Meena Raasi in the routine course on December first week.

Normally, the effect of Guru Peyarchi is indicated two months in advance of its original transition.

From November to December first week, it is only one month and one week (approximately) before his routine transition into Meenam.

This period will be his transitional period into Meenam, where he will impart more the effects of being into Meena Raasi than being in Kumba Raasi.

As such, in the present Guru Peyarchi in 2009, Guru Baghwan is going to be practically delivering the effects of being in Kumba Raasi for the first five months. In the tail end of the tenure also, he is more likely to advance the cause of Kumba Raasi and Meena Raasi than that of Kumba Raasi alone.

The above implications, together with the status of Sani and Raahu Kethu are being considered in deriving the probabilities of this Guru Peyarchi.

In the overall prediction of other important Grahas, it is impossible to study the whole picture as if a horoscope is studied.

At times, there are chances in such cases that the Transit Predictions may appear conflicting with one another. Chances are there.

The running Maha Dasa and the structure and strength of the horoscope are matters of paramount importance, which carry weight in foreseeing the future.

As such, in the case of a need, it is better to seek an Astrologer's opinion on the basis of your horoscope, instead of relying on the Transit Predictions alone.

When Guru Peyarchi indicates a good prospect - if you have to take a crucial decision, Guru Peyarchi is one of the indicators and not the only indicator.

Equally are the state of the transit predictions of all Grahas.

Though care is taken to count on the entire planetary picture, such conflicts may become inevitable.
